Joshua Vern Tamayo Wins 2025 RFS–NAMSSA Philippine National Motocross Championship December 26, 2025 Photo Credit: Faith Tamayo BARAS, Rizal, Philippines — Joshua Vern Tamayo secured the 2025 RFS–NAMSSA Philippine National Motocross Championship after emerging as the overall winner of the four-round national series sanctioned by NAMSSA and organized by EL Tech Racing, co-presented by Elf, and sponsored by Shell Advance. Competing in the Junior MX85 (ages 12–14) category, Tamayo rode a 2023 GASGAS MC 85 and delivered a consistent championship campaign. He won Rounds 1, 2, and 3 before finishing third (P3) in the final round, enough to clinch the national title by an eight-point margin over his closest challenger, Ivan del Rosario of Nueva Ecija. The championship was decided during the final round held at The Playground, where Tamayo managed his points advantage under pressure to secure the overall victory. Tamayo competes as part of Team MXMessiah and is supported by DANS PH, using Bell helmets, Gaerne boots, POD Active knee braces, Fasthouse riding gear, and 100% goggles, alongside Shell Advance lubricants.
