Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb led the opening lap but eventually fell back to fourth place to avoid any mishaps with other riders, hence ultimately winning the 2025 Monster Energy AMA 450 Supercross Championship! Webb was emotional when he crossed the line to win his third premiere class Supercross title! Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Malcolm Stewart wowed the crowd with a charge from a seventh-place start to second. Stewart passed Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Justin Cooper, who was in third behind Webb, who was riding conservatively for the title. Stewart got the crowd on their feet when he caught and passed Webb for second. Cooper eventually passed his teammate Webb; it was his third straight podium finish, and he landed third in the overall championships. In the 250SX East/West Showdown, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Haiden Deegan grabbed the holeshot and never looked back; this backs up his win the week before when he wrapped up the Western Divisional 250SX Class Championship. Behind Deegan, the three-rider fight for the Eastern Divisional 250SX Class Championship was settled with a wildly dramatic battle that saw Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tom Vialle finish in third place to earn a consecutive Eastern Divisional 250SX Class title. The crowd was stunned when Hampshire and Hammaker fell with the former’s aggressive pass, which took both of them out of title contention. chase sexton, coach sam tamayo, cooper webb, mmf live, mxmessiah live Share this post Leave a Reply Cancel reply Logged in as mx_admin. In Colorado, Sexton Wins his sixth Race of the Season while Deegan Sealed his first 250 Championship May 4, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Denver, Colorado (May 3, 2025) Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton took his sixth win of the season to cut Cooper Webb’s championship points lead to nine with only one round remaining. Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb was in championship mode and didn’t put much of a retaliation when Sexton passed him for the lead. Webb finished second while his teammate Justin Cooper finished third. Danger Boy Deegan headlined the Detroit Supercross with a controversial pass over his Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing Teammate Cole Davies for the win. The pass sent Davies over the backside of the berm during the latter part of the race which he led at one point over 4 seconds. He remounted on the bike and got back inside the track to finish 5th place. With Davies finishing fifth and Deegan winning, the latter sealed his first career Supercross Championship! The fans at the Empower Field stadium were split into cheering and booing. The fans booed in unison when the video of the pass of Deegan over Davies was shown during the podium interview. Red Bull KTM rider Julien Beumer capitalized on the crash of Davies and got second, followed by Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Garrett Marchbanks in third. (April 27, 2025)—Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb extends his overall championship points lead to 12 with an impressive win over his archrival Chase Sexton in Pittsburgh Supercross. The win means Webb can place second behind Sexton in the last two rounds and still win his third premiere class Supercross championship. Red Bull KTM’s Chase Sexton, who set the fastest lap in qualifying, was in second the whole race. He was close enough to apply the pressure to Webb, but a mistake in the whoops, which almost had him crash, showed how the two riders were pushing the limits of the already deteriorated track. Justin Cooper, who won the 450 Heat race against the KTM riders, battled with Aaron Plessinger but secured the last spot on the podium to earn his second podium of the season. In the Eastern Divisional 250SX Class. Red Bull KTM’s Tom Vialle delivered a clutch performance to win and get him the overall points lead back by one and claim his first victory of the season. The win marked the first time in the sport’s history that a Lites championship has delivered seven different winners. Nate Thrasher, who took the early lead, ended the race in second, while Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha’s Maximus Vohland got his career-first podium finish in third. Chase Sexton Rode a Perfect Race in Philadelphia Supercross

Chase Sexton Rode a Perfect Race in Philadelphia Supercross April 13, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Philadelphia, Pa., (April 12, 2025) Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton keeps his title hope alive by having a perfect day, getting the pole, and winning both the heat race and the main! He charged from a subpar start caused by the Plessinger and Mcelrath tangle to win Round 13 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Sexton closed the points gap between him and Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb to 12. Webb finished second behind Sexton, while Suzuki Progressive Ecstar rider Ken Roczen, who got the holeshot and led most of the main, ended up third. “It’s time to make or break. I felt great all day, and that’s how you do it: one, one, one, one [fastest qualifier in both sessions, heat race win, Main Event win]. I’m looking forward to the next race, but today was awesome. Good, dry track, not like last weekend, and I’m feeling good on the bike. It’s been fun and today was a good step in the right direction.” – Chase Sexton In the 250 East and West battle, it was a 17-year-old rider from New Zealand who dominated the race. Monster Energy Star Yamaha’s Cole Davies rode a perfect race, going around his teammate Haiden Deegan for the win. Deegan settled for second, while Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire is now tied for the overall points lead with Seth Hammaker finishing third. “I literally grew up watching all the guys that I’m racing right now. It’s a big stage out here, a lot of people watching, but I just focus on myself. Two in a row, I’m stoked. It’s been a long journey to get where I am. To Will – you get to keep your hair, mate. That’s two. So he gets to keep his hair, doesn’t get shaved, so he’s safe. I’m stoked, big thanks to the whole Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha team and my mechanic Lach [Lachlan Mills]. We’ve been putting in the work… The whole group around me is just very, very good and striving to be the best they can. So I’m just stoked for everyone around me.” – Cole Davies, on the podium. chase sexton, cooper webb, mmf live, mxmessiah live, philly supercross, supercross Share this post Leave a Reply Cancel reply Logged in as mx_admin. Cooper Webb Beats Chase Sexton In Seattle Supercross

Cooper Webb Beats Chase Sexton In Seattle Supercross March 31, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Seattle, Wash. (March 29, 2025) Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb did the exact gesture last year to Chase Sexton when he crossed the finish line for the win. The two-time 450 Supercross champion looked back and pointed a finger at his rival mid-air. Webb grabbed the lead with less than 3 laps remaining; he was able to maintain the lead and won, like déjà vu of last year. Red Bull KTM’s Chase Sexton, on the other hand, had a terrific race despite getting second place. He had to climb his way from the back of the pack into the lead and battled close with Webb up to the last corner. Aaron Plessinger got his third podium of the year. The battle was intense and entertaining in the Western Divisional 250SX Class; 17-year-old rookie Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cole Davies, from New Zealand, put in a great ride to grab the holeshot and led every lap of the race for his first career win. Behind him was a battle for positions and points in the championship. Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchbanks finished in second place while series points leader Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Haiden Deegan recovered from an early crash to block pass his arch rival for the championship, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Julien Beaumer, who earned fourth, for the last spot on the podium. The pass for the lead and huge save of Haiden Deegan that had Supercross fans buzzing about whether it was clean or aggressive. Monster Energy Star Yamaha’s Haiden Deegan executed a pass for the win over his teammate Michael Mosiman and Red Bull KTM Rider Julien Beumer in the same corner and just a few moments later cased a massive jump but miraculously saved it during the Heat Race of the 250 West Supercross in Angel Stadium, Anaheim, California. Both SMX World Champions, Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan, are back on top at Anaheim 2 Supercross!

Both SMX World Champions, Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan, are back on top at Anaheim 2 Supercross! January 26, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Anaheim, CA, USA (January 25, 2025) Reigning SuperMotocross World Champions, Jett Lawrence of Team Honda HRC Progressive and Haiden Deegan of Team Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, are back on top in round 3 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship. Heading into the 2025 season, both were expected to be dominating the entire series, with even talks about the season becoming boring and that they might sweep their respective classes. But as it goes, the former had a 12-2 finish while the latter had a 5-3 finish from the first two rounds. Although the season is long, the pressure that surrounds both champions to be perfect and to completely dominate their opponents didn’t happen in the first two rounds. Some are quick to criticize them already because of this. Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki’s Ken Roczen had an amazing ride to end up the 450 Main Event race with second overall, outriding Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Jason Anderson. Roczen also took the red plate, or overall championship standings, with second place, and that would make him the third red plate holder in three rounds. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac, who had a dominating heat race win, suffered with a mediocre start in the main event race, which eventually ended in 7th, and as a result, lost the red plate. But it was Jett Lawrence who systematically picked positions all the way to first place and back to the title hunt to defend his 450 supercross title. Jett and Eli are now tied in third, just 5 points behind Roczen, who is the new overall points leader. In the 250 West class, it was an interesting battle between Haiden Deegan and Red Bull KTM rider Julien Beumer from qualifying, the heat race, and eventually the main! Beumer and Deegan made contact during their heat races that led to the former crashing, and just a few moments later Deegan casing the triple but miraculously was able to keep it on two wheels. Then during the main event, while Deegan was pulling away slowly from Beuemer and the rest of the riders, the rain started to fall. Triumph’s Jordon Smith tipped over in the latter part of the race, which gave Cole Davies of Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing his first podium in his third professional race!
