April 20, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment East Rutherford, N.J., (April 19, 2025) Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton took the holeshot and just dominated the race at Round 14 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season inside MetLife Stadium. It was the biggest win margin thus far this season, with around 14 seconds over Webb! The win kept Sexton’s championship hopes alive, now within nine points of the championship lead. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb, the current points leader, was a distant second place and lost another three championship points to Sexton. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Aaron Plessinger got third after a hard battle with Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia until Barcia crashed in the closing laps. In the Eastern Divisional 250SX Class, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Seth Hammaker led every lap to become the first repeat winner in the division and took sole possession of the points lead over defending champions’ RJ Hampshire and Tom Vialle. Chase Sexton Rode a Perfect Race in Philadelphia Supercross

Chase Sexton Rode a Perfect Race in Philadelphia Supercross April 13, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Philadelphia, Pa., (April 12, 2025) Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton keeps his title hope alive by having a perfect day, getting the pole, and winning both the heat race and the main! He charged from a subpar start caused by the Plessinger and Mcelrath tangle to win Round 13 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Sexton closed the points gap between him and Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb to 12. Webb finished second behind Sexton, while Suzuki Progressive Ecstar rider Ken Roczen, who got the holeshot and led most of the main, ended up third. “It’s time to make or break. I felt great all day, and that’s how you do it: one, one, one, one [fastest qualifier in both sessions, heat race win, Main Event win]. I’m looking forward to the next race, but today was awesome. Good, dry track, not like last weekend, and I’m feeling good on the bike. It’s been fun and today was a good step in the right direction.” – Chase Sexton In the 250 East and West battle, it was a 17-year-old rider from New Zealand who dominated the race. Monster Energy Star Yamaha’s Cole Davies rode a perfect race, going around his teammate Haiden Deegan for the win. Deegan settled for second, while Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire is now tied for the overall points lead with Seth Hammaker finishing third. “I literally grew up watching all the guys that I’m racing right now. It’s a big stage out here, a lot of people watching, but I just focus on myself. Two in a row, I’m stoked. It’s been a long journey to get where I am. To Will – you get to keep your hair, mate. That’s two. So he gets to keep his hair, doesn’t get shaved, so he’s safe. I’m stoked, big thanks to the whole Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha team and my mechanic Lach [Lachlan Mills]. We’ve been putting in the work… The whole group around me is just very, very good and striving to be the best they can. So I’m just stoked for everyone around me.” – Cole Davies, on the podium. chase sexton, cooper webb, mmf live, mxmessiah live, philly supercross, supercross Share this post Leave a Reply Cancel reply Logged in as mx_admin. Aaron Plessinger Wins an Absolute Foxborough Mudder

Aaron Plessinger Wins an Absolute Foxborough Mudder April 7, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Foxborough, Mass. (April 6, 2025) Red Bull KTM’s Aaron Plessinger wins the muddiest race in recent supercross racing history! The rain poured, and the mud got thicker than ever. He mentioned during the post-race conference about how nervous he was before the gate drop, not knowing what was going to happen in the race, but he ended up getting a good start and managing the whole race with Quadlock Honda Racing’s Shane McElrath behind him. McElrath was impressive the whole race, earned his career-first heat race win, and earned his first career-first podium for second place. But it was Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha rider Cooper Webb who surprised everyone as he made some late race moves when from position seven he made his way to third place, passing Chase Sexton and Ken Roczen during the last two laps. “In these kinds of conditions you don’t know what can happen. It’s so stressful when you’re leading the championship. You’re hoping your motorcycle makes it first of all, and then just getting into the Main you’re like, ‘All right I can breathe a little bit.’ These are bummer conditions. Nobody truly, I don’t think, wants to race in this unless you’re [Aaron Plessinger], maybe…. [Early on] I had a great pace… then I get excited, and I fall. So, I get up, and you kind of go into panic mode, and then you fall again. So, I fell twice and finally was like, ‘All right, I’m going to just calm down, I’ll take the points loss, but let’s minimize the points, let’s at least get as far up as we can.’ And that’s what happened. I shut my brain off and it’s crazy what happens. You start sending it, you start finding a flow. I don’t know what happened the last lap, I just jumped all the jumps, like my buddy says. It was cool. I’m stoked to be up here on the podium again.” – Cooper Webb In 250 East SX Class racing, Honda’s Chance Hymas moved into the lead half way into the 8minutes plus one lap Main Event. Rounding up inside the podium were Phoenix Racing Honda’s Cullin Park and Dirtb Bike Depot’s Gage Linville who both earned their first career podium. “This means so much to me. We’ve been working our butts off to get here. I took a step back this week and just tried to appreciate where I’m at. I wasn’t even planning on racing [a previous round] Tampa, with my knee [injury]. And just to be in this position – I know these are completely different circumstances, but you know, to finish first you’ve got to finish, first. I’m so excited to have the team behind me; they’ve been working their butts off and they’ve been believing in me since Day 1. I can’t thank those guys enough. And thank you to the fans for sticking it out in the rain… [regarding his outside gate pick] Sometimes you’ve got to take chances and right now I’ve got nothing to lose. Sometimes you take a shot like that and it doesn’t work, sometimes it works; and for me I’d say it worked. I feel like, at our level, everything’s so close you’ve got to be willing to take chances like that.” – Chance Hymas “I’ll tell you what, I was getting a little too excited there with two laps to go. Something about Foxborough and just ripping some good starts. I nailed the start and [Trainer] Heath Harrison [had] told me, ‘You get a start, you ride a good first few laps, and you’ve got a podium,’ and honestly I kind of half believed him. And then I ripped a start and I said [to myself], ‘I’ve got this. I’m in the hunt tonight.’ I just stuck to my laps… My mechanic, with two laps to go, [signaled] ‘Just bring it home.’ Those were probably the two slowest laps I’ve ever done in my career, and they got the job done.” – Cullin Park “I’m pretty speechless right now. I don’t even have words. As a kid you always dream for this moment and for it to come true is just unreal. I’m just really speechless right now.” – Gage Linville Share this post Leave a Reply Cancel reply Logged in as mx_admin. Edit your profile. Log out? Cooper Webb Beats Chase Sexton In Seattle Supercross

Cooper Webb Beats Chase Sexton In Seattle Supercross March 31, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Seattle, Wash. (March 29, 2025) Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb did the exact gesture last year to Chase Sexton when he crossed the finish line for the win. The two-time 450 Supercross champion looked back and pointed a finger at his rival mid-air. Webb grabbed the lead with less than 3 laps remaining; he was able to maintain the lead and won, like déjà vu of last year. Red Bull KTM’s Chase Sexton, on the other hand, had a terrific race despite getting second place. He had to climb his way from the back of the pack into the lead and battled close with Webb up to the last corner. Aaron Plessinger got his third podium of the year. The battle was intense and entertaining in the Western Divisional 250SX Class; 17-year-old rookie Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cole Davies, from New Zealand, put in a great ride to grab the holeshot and led every lap of the race for his first career win. Behind him was a battle for positions and points in the championship. Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchbanks finished in second place while series points leader Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Haiden Deegan recovered from an early crash to block pass his arch rival for the championship, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Julien Beaumer, who earned fourth, for the last spot on the podium. Cooper Webb stole the win at Arlington Supercross February 24, 2025 Photo Credit: Feld Entertainment Arlington, Texas, (February 23, 2025) Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb won the Triple Crown at Arlington Supercross with a 6-1-1 score. The overall win happened when Red Bull KTM rider Chase Sexton crashed after hitting the rear tire of Webb in an attempt to pass for the lead during the last lap of Race 3. Sexton, who did not need to win the last race to win the overall, remounted on the bike and ended up 5th in the race; his 3-2-5 scores still got him the third overall. Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki’s Ken Roczen took second overall with a 1-5-3 race score. The 450 Overall Championship has Webb as the sole red plate holder heading into Daytona next weekend. The Western Divisional 250SX Class had Monster Energy Yamaha Racing’s Haiden Deegan win his second of the season, hence grabbing the overall championship points away from Red Bull KTM’s Julien Beaumer. Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha’s Coty Schock, who got 2-4-6 scores, won his first career podium with a second overall behind Deegan. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Michael Mosiman took the final podium spot with 3-2-7 finishes. chase sexton, cooper webb, supercross Share this post Leave a Reply Cancel reply Logged in as mx_admin. Jett Lawrence extends his points lead to 12 heading to the last two rounds.

Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence rode unchallenged from start to finish to get his seventh career 450 main event at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The rookie extended his point lead to 12 heading into the last two rounds of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross, organized by Feld Entertainment. Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha rider Cooper Webb rode behind Lawrence but dropped positions until getting forced by Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Jason Anderson to relinquish podium position when he passed him in the final corner before the checkered flag. But it was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton who put on a show, as he was the one battling his way from mediocre starts to second place on the podium. “I might have found some of my speed back in that Main Event. I had some good laps, came from pretty far back and, especially on a track like this that’s really hard to pass on, I feel like I made the best of it. Yeah, we made some big [adjustments] this week on the bike, and it seemed to pay off somewhat. So we’ll go back to work, keep improving, and [we] gotta get another win before the season’s out. I think I’m starting to get back to my normal form, and we’re looking forward to these last two rounds and heading into outdoors.” – Chase Sexton Jett Lawrence extends his points lead to 12 heading to the last two rounds. Jett Lawrence is back on top and has swung back the championship momentum on his side.

Jett Lawrence got a 20+ point lead and is in total control of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross 450 Championship by Feld Entertainment until he got bam bam’d by TLD Gasgas rider Justin Barcia, but not of either Jett nor Barcia’s fault but just a racing incident. And since then, the momentum has swung against his favor. He found himself losing a huge point lead and tied with two-time Monster Energy Supercross 450 champion Cooper Webb! But last weekend, Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence earned his sixth win of the season with a convincing victory inside Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. At the start of the main event, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac grabbed the holeshot and held onto the lead until the midpoint. He finished in second place, while his Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing teammate, Cooper Webb, who had tied up the points leading into Nashville, earned third place. The finish puts him back five points with three rounds remaining in the 17-round Monster Energy Supercross season. “I hate losing, so that bit of a losing streak really sucked. But [I’m] really pumped to come out and get it done here, especially with the Slash and Gibson [designed] gear. Those people are awesome to us, so I have to say a big shout out to them; I reckon it helped a lot. [I] felt good out there [and] hit my marks. A big [bummer] for Kenny, I didn’t get to fully see [Roczen’s crash] because of all the smoke, but it looked like it was pretty bad, so I hope he’s okay or has a speedy recovery from that. But… this [win] is leading in the good direction, so hopefully we keep it going.” – Jett Lawrence
