Arlington, Texas, (February 23, 2025) Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb won the Triple Crown at Arlington Supercross with a 6-1-1 score. The overall win happened when Red Bull KTM rider Chase Sexton crashed after hitting the rear tire of Webb in an attempt to pass for the lead during the last lap of Race 3. Sexton, who did not need to win the last race to win the overall, remounted on the bike and ended up 5th in the race; his 3-2-5 scores still got him the third overall. Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki’s Ken Roczen took second overall with a 1-5-3 race score. The 450 Overall Championship has Webb as the sole red plate holder heading into Daytona next weekend.
The Western Divisional 250SX Class had Monster Energy Yamaha Racing’s Haiden Deegan win his second of the season, hence grabbing the overall championship points away from Red Bull KTM’s Julien Beaumer. Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha’s Coty Schock, who got 2-4-6 scores, won his first career podium with a second overall behind Deegan. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Michael Mosiman took the final podium spot with 3-2-7 finishes.
