Chase Sexton Wins Birmingham Supercross after a Two-week Break

Birmingham, Ala., (March 23, 2025) After a two-week break, the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is back, and it was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton who took the win with a (1-1-2) race result in the third Triple Crown race event of the season. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Malcolm Stewart, who crashed in qualifying and sustained a minor hip injury, gritted out three incredible finishes (3-2-3) for an impressive second overall. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Aaron Plessinger grabbed two holeshots, led laps, and earned his second podium of the season with (2-3-5) race finishes.

In the Eastern Divisional 250SX Class, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Nate Thrasher took the win and became the fifth different winner in the first five rounds. Thrasher took the event overall with a (3-3-2) race score. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s RJ Hampshire (1-2-5) finish had him get second overall, while Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tom Vialle finished on the podium with (2-5-3) race results.
