Alberto brothers, TJ and Troy, captured the limelight after emerging best in the second leg of the 2014 MMF 15-leg D-Motocross Series on March 15 at Mx Messiah Fairgrounds (MMF), Club Manila East, Taytay Rizal.
“I am happy with the results. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the results today. I just had to push through to win not just one moto but three motos,” said Open Production winner TJ A.
NAMSAA rider Christian Ramento was leading the pack when it slid, giving the older Alberto the shots from the fourth lap of moto 3.
“From the first to the fourth lap, I was just right behind Christian. Midway through the race, there was a platform and I wasn’t able to catch up. But on the fourth lap, I cleared the doubles and I still draw near to him. Christian made a mistake and I was able to pass him,” said senior high schooler Alberto of KTM-Access Plus.
Younger brother Troy A. didn’t lose grip as he gained the Kids Sr and Kids Jr while veterans Randy Dayao took home the Open Local Enduro against Mav Bandigan at Ronie Gobre.
Riders Ramon Castillo top-notched the Executive A as Roel Castellano finished first in the Executive B.
