2012 MMF AMATEUR MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS

 

-Cash Prizes and Trophies awaits the top three winners. Fourth and Fifth placers may receive consolation prizes in monetary or “in kind” form.

 

-Only the championship winners of the “underbone open class A category” and “local enduro open class A category” will get to win a brand new Honda Xrm! In the case there’s a tie in the over-all final score among riders, the one with the most wins will be awarded the Honda Xrm; the organizer is not responsible for government taxes in the case honda demands it.

 

-Underbone and Local Enduro Class are “open class categories” open to all riders and modified bikes (in compliance to “allowable modifications” mentioned below). However, double entry is not allowed. Riders may register to either “class A” or “class B” only.

 

-Amateur Production Class is an open class for Beginners and Novice Class riders only. Riders who have joined races higher than the novice class, even if its just once, in other race organizations such as Namssa, Sel-J, SL, etc. will not be allowed in this class.

 

-Riders who did not commit to join the championship series are allowed to join individual races even if it may affect the championship points standings of the series contenders.

 

-Registration fee is 500 pesos for the Class A Riders and Production Riders, 300 pesos for the rest of the other categories.

 

-DNF/DNS equates to last place position. In the case there’s a tie in the points among riders based on the combined result of the First and Second Moto, the second moto standing has the dominant position.

 

-Categories may be dissolved or combined in the case that there are less than five participants or is deemed necessary by the organizers.

 

-“Drop ‘one race’ system” will be part of the series points championship.

 

-Starting gate pick: First Moto will be on a first come, first serve basis; first to register has the first gate pick. Second Moto will be based on the result of the first moto.

 

 

Points System

1st-25, 2nd-22, 3rd-20, 4th-18, 5th-16, 6th-15, 7th-14, 8th-13, 9th-12, 10th-11, 11th-10, 12th-9, 13th-8, 14th-7, 15th-6, 16th-5, 17th-4, 18th-3, 19th-2, 20th-1

 

 

MOTORCYCLE RULES:

 

  • Engines:

-The actual engine, as manufactured by the manufacturer, should be the subject of allowable modification. Engine number for the underbone and local enduro category will be verified upon checking the OR/CR of the motorcycle.

-Allowable modifications:

-Engine displacements overboring are allowed.

-Clutch and cooling system modifications are allowed.

-Transmissions’ number of gears must be the same as the actual model of the manufacturer.

 

  • Exhaust pipes

-Exhaust pipes are modifiable

 

  • Frame:

-The actual frame of the bike, as manufactured by the manufacturer, should be the subject of allowable modifications. Chassis number for the underbone and local enduro category will be verified upon checking the OR/CR of the motorcycle.

Allowable modifications:

-For Class A Categories:

-Frame can be reinforced with other metal alloys but not as to alter its original frame design.

-Subframes may be replaced provided they are the same in form to the original production part.

 

  • Forks and Shocks

 

-For Class A Categories

-the manufacturer’s original suspension(fork and shocks) must be the subject for modification! Converting the motorcycle’s original suspension and replacing it with ones from a different motorcycle is not allowed.

-“Suspension play” will be limited up to three inches only from the original stock travel designed by the manufacturer to maintain its homologated aesthetics. “Forks” and “Shocks” will be measured and set side by side with the original stock suspension.

 

 

-For Class B Categories

-Suspensions may be altered/changed provided it will comply to the manufacturer’s homologated aesthetics.

-“Suspension play” will be limited up to three inches only from the original stock travel designed by the manufacturer to maintain its homologated aesthetics. “Forks” and “Shocks” will be measured and set side by side with the original stock suspension.

 

 

 

RIDERS RULES

  •  Rider Apparel

-Riders must wear helmets at all times when riding in the race track. Helmets must conform to global safety standards certified by a label attached in the helmet.

-Goggles must be shatter resistant and worn at the start of every race.

-Long sleeve jerseys are a must for all riders.

-Protective Pants

-Boots

 

 

-“RIDER PROTEST” SYSTEM

– A one thousand peso, REFUNDABLE, “protest fee” will be paid to the organizer in order for a rider to file a protest against other riders.

– The investigation will be made by the organizer under the leadership of the race director in charge. Upon investigation, “protest fee” will be refunded to the “protester” in the case he/she is proven right, on the other hand, the “protest fee” will be non-refundable in the case the protester is proven wrong.

-Disqualification is ultimately within the discretion of the organizers upon conducting its investigation.

– Rider/motorcycle disqualification to join the championship series, and get the chance to win the Honda XRM, must happen in the first three race only. There will be no more disqualification of Rider/motorcycle in the fourth race onwards.

 

 

 

 

 

**Drop One Race System- In the ten leg series, riders may choose one leg with the least points, absent, mechanical failures, etc. may drop the points of that single/one among ten races.

  1. Sir.., kgaya poh nmin mga amateur gus2 nmin mglaro ng 2 s underbone?… cguro ok ung 1 pra s mga dtihan n expert riders … kgaya nlng ng mga beech brods.
